NOTICE OF COMPLIANCE

          Sweeny ISD does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, nor disability in admission to its programs, services, nor activities, in providing access to them, in treatment of individuals, or in any respect of their operations in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Sweeny ISD offers career and technology education programs in Agricultural Science and Technology, Business Education, Health Occupations Education, Industrial Technology Education, and Trade and Industrial Education.  Admission to these programs is based on interest, aptitude, and age appropriateness.  Sweeny ISD will take steps to assure that lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational and vocational programs.
